As for the Indians, I figure they've got a certain amount of karmic payback coming to them, and nobody's forcing the palefaces to go blow their paychecks.

If one expands that concept across the globe we see a bigger picture emerge and perhaps one that warrants further scrutiny.

In Venezuela, if the masses are dumb enough to empower a Chavez for life - that's exactly what they deserve.

Trotsky? He paid the ultimate price for all of his mental defects and support of communism.

Same with all the rest.

Look at America.

If the masses are stupid enough to keep letting our population be dumbed down by poor schools and at the same time let our economy be utterly demolished by illegal immigration, liberal politics and by turning life for our children into the shallowest of materialistic brothels - then that's what America deserves.

Many of my stories and books have involved time-travel and changing the past to "correct mistakes" as it were. However, in each such plotline there are fundamental problems with which I must always ignore to sustain the entertaining nature of the story. (I.e provide a happy ending;-)

One of these is the fact that all these human screw-ups in history were the byproduct of the common denominator at any given time.

All the people today yapping about "the environment", "global warming", "green" or "carbon footprint" can be classified mostly as simple folks and/or human predators. One can argue the simple folks deserve to be exploited by the predators since they are too lazy to educate themselves beyond the soundbyte and apparently have long since lost the ability to do anything but parrot popular rhetoric. There quest to fit in, will always have them conforming to the latest fad.

In nature, one sees the same thing when one watches un unsuspecting herd of wildebeest get stalked by a pride of lions - the slaughter is fast and final. A few escape if they are paying attention.

Do the wildebeest deserve their fate? Do the Venezuelans deserve Chavez? Did 1863 Deserve John Wilkes Booth? Did 1963 Deserve Lee Harvey Oswald? Did Russia deserve Lenin? Do the masses of leftists of 2007 deserve Gore and the UN Climate Scientists?

Unfortunately, the answer is they do.

When one really understands this, one can no longer waste much time trying to "save" anyone. Saving the leftists or Venezuelans from their fate is no different then trying to save the wildebeest from its fate.

It's pointless. As soon as you left them alone for a minute they would revert to the same ol..and would find someone or something else to follow - a new predator would get them in the end.

The same is true with saving Lincoln or Kennedy, if one took Booth and Oswald out of the picture someone else would step up to fill the void. The magnetics would bring about the same equation results.

Folks have to learn their own lessons. No one can save them. Superman, if he did exist, would be the ultimate bad guy because he would rob everyone of their own learning experiences.

Sometimes kids need to be burned by a match before they stop playing with them and sometimes the uneducated masses need Chavez...or "global warming" to rally around. Then 30 years later they can kick themselves for their ignorance and warn their own grandkids about their abysmal ignorance and mistakes.

Eventually, in the end, the massive suffering and stupidity of the world is put to a good purpose.
