Whew. "Commercial" real estate. You almost gave me heart failure. A lot of fools overloaded on regular real estate in recent years. It's often overlooked that many people who got blown out of the water by company failures or stock failures were loading up on one or two "sure things," trying to get rich quick.
"Guaranteed" seems to be some kind of annuity, which I don't know much about. Any "guaranteed" rate is going to be pretty low anyplace you can put your money (normal savings accounts absolutely suck--my bank pays about half a percent), and around 5 percent is actually pretty reasonable for that kind of thing.
It sounds like you already have a pretty good balance for your age, and I wouldn't recommend getting too "sporty" with anything related to stocks when we're talking only a few years.
You might want to think about doing something you can make a little money at after retirement. It's one reason I'm trying to get into writing. Believe me, if I could figure out a way to make money doing what I do here, I would.
