Its for the same reasons I don't discuss Current Events anymore, or for that matter argue with Flat Earthers or Creationists.

We also know that there are people out there (witness TB) who are otherwise bright, but will employ their intelligence in coming up with excuses, writing defenses and excusing all failures at all costs until the universe draws to a close. The Kool-Aid slurpies.

So regardless if there is a there there to this recent issue or not, it doesn't matter. Just as we have ID advocates in the time of microbiology and modern genetics, so too will we have the Kool-Aid Slurpies.

For my part I'm done. I think so is most everyone else on the national level. We're all just running out the clock on this set of clowns and praying that the idiot portion of our populace doesn't elect another set of moronic clowns.
