And it hasn't even received that.
It looks as if the collective conservative "wisdom" is to ignore it and hope it will go away. Which implies several damning things.
Clearly the guy has more hard information about this and/or other scandals that they don't want coming out, or he would have been smeared all over the place by now. See "Valerie Plame" or "Joseph Wilson", for instance. And the smears don't have to be true or accurate. See "Swift Boat".
Even more revealing is the fact that such a blockbuster revelation has been generally ignored by Conservatives. That speaks to a monolithic manner of handling matters. Apparently no one has come up with the direction, talking points or the spin, leaving a vast silence, the chronic defenders of Bush speechless. That's an accident?
And reinforces the notion the guy has the information. Remember, at the time he said that eventually the whole story would come out. Or be cleared up, or something like that. Could be a clue that he would collect a paper trail to clear his name of having been one more deceptive Bush press secretary.
I believe the crux will come when the book is finally published. The Bush Administration has a great deal of energy and focus when it comes to manipulating, pressuring and distorting, and we'll see what they can manage to do to the final manuscript.

This certainly rises above a "not worthy of comment" comment.
