Here's a news story on the governor opposition. What do they sound like to you?
When a U.S. theater gets shot up by one lone kook, it's a national emergency. When a theater in Paris got shot up by an organized group that is acting around the world, it's "why get scared?" Sure as hell France took it seriously. I put up examples of Obama and Canada retreating under the same kind of threat. I'm not that inspired to research any more.
"Has anybody ever said otherwise?" There are probably a dozen posts this past week pounding at me about the infinitesimal possibility of attacks by any refugee, that the very idea of worrying about it isn't quite sane, and is obviously just part of the seething racism that infects anyone who questions the idea.
