Just the first paragraph is a lie:
Change in solar activity is one of the many factors that influence the climate but cannot, on its own, account for all the changes in global average temperature we have seen in the 20th Century.
What RS wunderkind thought up that statement? Of course solar variance can be responsible for all the changes we've seen - and then some!
In fact, this entire page, where the above paragraph originates, is so full of BS it's almost laughable.
Well, actually, it is laughable.
But at the same time it's not funny.
To whit:
While there is evidence of a link between solar activity and some of the warming in the early 20th Century, measurements from satellites show that there has been very little change in underlying solar activity in the last 30 years there is even evidence of a detectable decline and so this cannot account for the recent rises we have seen in global temperatures.
We dont even have a satellite up that can measure every bandwidth of the sun! We never have. All we have ever had is small glimpses of tiny bands of radiation that could be monitored by satellites like SOHO. Put in perspective, we have observed about 1% of the suns total output for 5% of the twentieth century.
When someone who works with the solar data looks at this paragraph he/she knows they are full of it, and have a clear agenda they are pursuing.
Such bald-faced lies of this nature is actually scary, because you realize a political juggernaut has been put into motion.
