As a very simple minded person

I have a lot of trouble grasping 3 million miles an hour. OK, it’s fast, but it just doesn’t register. I’m told the sun is going at 486,00 miles an hour through the Milky Way, so that makes this neutron star roughly six times faster. Or, very roughly, it would travel the distance from here to the moon is less than 5 minutes. Or, if I were driving at 50 miles an hour, the neutron star would overtake me at 300 MPH. I know this isn't very scientific but for me, it helps.
