Gee whiz, didn't we fight a war about this?
The War of 1812 had to do with impressment of sailors, i.e., kidnapping, only the British were doing it to us. We took exception, as well we should. The British are our allies now. Our Federal Executive branch ought to pay a little more attention to that and treat them that way. Not to mention agreeing with international agreements concerning sovereignty.
The British set fire to the White House during the War of 1812. Maybe we should let them do it again.
