I ran this on my home computer which uses IE 6 and works, both yesterday and today. However when I appended the debugmode I got a box that said:
Stack overflow at line: 0

then another box that said:
A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?
to which I replied no

Then I got the same boxes one more time and then the slideshow started like normal.
