Spirit future (realistic)

In 1300+ sols, Spirit has driven about 7.5km

To the rim of Gusev is about 80km's away.

Given the failure of one wheel (which makes slopes a very hard if not impossible prospect over 8 degrees) - and the 14,000 sols it would probably take - the rim of Gusev is in the realm of Sci-Fi. It's not even a reasonable speculation.

After the next Martian winter (starting about now and lasting 6-9 months) Spirit will probably head south, back over Home Plate to the Von Braun feature south of Home Plate.
