First major indicator will be the 4th quarter growth rate. Preliminary numbers on that won't be in until the end of January, and final numbers don't roll in until about March. The pessimists are predicting 1 to 1.5 percent, or even less than zero. Third quarter GDP growth rates came in at about double the general prediction consensus.

We'll see.
