I'm not there yet
though I am considerably younger, so still learning new tricks when necessary.
I never got the hang of Apple's desktop UI because I am so heavily invested in Windows. For that matter the few times I've delved into Linux UIs they always felt a cheap ripoff of Windows.
Not that Windows is perfect. 8 was a total disaster that betrayed people's sense of productivity. The fact that they copied the UI to Server is unforgivable. Who the hell needs touch on a server?
10 is the olive branch and has restored a lot of good will, however now we are suspicious that Microsoft has become tone deaf to its principle user base. Since we all run software that can only be run in a Windows environment it makes us skittish as hell.
