I try to avoid invoking IE to read anything on the Web... On the other hand, I've installed the "block IE7" patch, so the version still resident on this box is still 6.0.2900.
I didn't read the problems other folks were having with IE6, so I can't make a direct comparison, but here's what I found:
There doesn't seem to be any easy way to get back to the main page. Going to any of the slide shows, or the bio, or the shopping cart, doesn't light up the "back" button. Had to use the "history" sidebar, and when I did, the frames on the right edge got scrambled across the screen. A "refresh" took care of that... but it also brought up an advisory about "a script slowing down the browser". When I told it to keep running the script, I got the "Stack overflow at line 0", but the site continues to work.
But, I just discovered that clicking the top of the frame containing the slideshow brings you back... It's a habitual thing, I suppose, to expect that clicking the big logo in the upper left takes one "home".
Some aesthetic nits: The "About Mark" and "Shopping cart" buttons are dark grey with white text, except when one of the slideshows is running. Then (and only then) they match the green-on-black overall theme. This occurs in both browsers, btw.
And speaking of those buttons: in IE6, the tops of the frames holding the text beneath them ("Biography, philosopy" and "Order prints", respectively) overlap the bottom edges of the buttons.
Now here's one I just found... the slideshow frames won't stay full size in IE6 when I click back and forth among them. In fact, they won't even consistently remain the same shrunken size (and their contents are overlapped and scrambled). Refreshing the page provides a temporary fix, but then I get the "stack overflow" again... and the problem reappears when I start switching between slideshows.
Gonna be tough to decide which print to order...
