And she had her own TV show

Or so I found out yesterday as it all became news. I know Brittany Spears father was behind her career along with her mother at an early age. So, in essence, they've been selling their little girls, without ever thinking of their emotional or mental health.

I remember watching Drew Barrymore grow up in the spotlight with all the attending bells and whistles and what it did to her in her teens. Kids have to be careful walking the landmines of youth as they develop their boundaries with common sense and the persistent guidance of their parents. It's such a shame. Girls at 8 or 10 will want to be wearing bare midriffs at 12 or 13 and dying their hair blond and wearing make-up. Imitating the Spears sisters in their minds will bring them fame and notoriety (or at least attention). Being seductive and getting pregnant and moving from boy to boy will be something like a badge of honor for them.

No 16 yr. old girl is ready to raise a kid. She's still a kid herself.
It's disgraceful what society and the modern media has done to portray our youth.
