I could see myself being somewhat amused by such foolishness.
This Dave Lindorff chap might be someone I could find interesting in a discussion about global warming- though undoubtedly, he couldn't help but be more knowledgeable in other topics.
Though it's possible [perhaps likely] that such a person would just stamp his feet and be unwilling to have a rational discussion- this of course, wouldn't be interesting.
