searching for what we don't know
it has by far been one of the most difficult things to do, but most rewarding as well.
Newton was looking for something he didn't know when he "got hit on the head by an apple"
We are still trying to identify "Dark Matter"... which is another example of looking for something we don't know and can't prove is there.
So what is my point?
If we keep ignoring that there might be other possibilities than just life in oceans and life on planets that are within the "habitable zone", we might be missing what we are really looking for.
We need an apple to hit us in the head again ;-)
