They'll be back...
...as soon as something embarrassing to Liberals happens, or at least, something they think should be embarrassing to Liberals.
Sooner or later, some Liberal will get caught with his hand in the cookie jar; with a dead girl or a live boy, or Americans die in a terrorist attack, Putin invades another country, or the stock market crashes. They'll be back to gloat and snark.
Lets face it, we're just riding the Trump wave now. The Donald and his ideas are very difficult to spin, cherry-pick or "research" into respectability. Sooner or later, this too shall pass, and we'll start talking about Obamacare, Benghazi and Hillary's emails again.
And they can always fall back on the Colossal Covert Communist Climatologist Cabal Conspiracy.
