It seems to me the Clintons have lowered the level of the campaign quite precipitously as Obama gets to be a larger force. Given the associations of the Clintons it seems to me they'd be wise to avoid this tack. (Maybe it's just me, again, but Bill seems to be hitting the sauce a bit hard - he looks like hell!)

On the other hand, Obama seems to be as free as a US Senator can be of the stuff of scandal. I haven't heard any hints yet of anything particularly harmful, though he has to have been scrutinized as long and hard as the Clinton's can afford.

Interesting contest. The tendency of the Clintons to go negative is disturbing. Bill's comment that a race between Hillary and McCain would be as clean as possible wouldn't seem to me to be anything worth putting money on.
