On one side we have Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Abu Zubaydah, and a third unnamed known terrorist. You can look up the names if they're not familiar.
The purpose of the waterboarding was to gain information to save civilian lives. According to CIA representatives, it did save lives.
On the other side we have uniformed military men, captured in a legitimate, U.N.-approved war, engaging in military actions according to the international conventions of war.
If you can find any evidence that the purpose of their treatment in Iraq was only to gain information to save Iraqi civilian lives, please enlighten us on it.
I assume you read through that complaint, and tallied up the Geneva Convention violations on the treatment of uniformed military prisoners in a legal war.
If I've still lost you on this, sorry.
