I broke down.
My video output died this AM as I was trying to get the computer to see the video card, something it hadn't done for a long, long time. Was killing time waiting for my car to be repaired, and wandered into an Office Depot. They had an Intel dual core quad at 2.4, 400 G hard drive, etc., for $650.
This is it. I purchased it. We'll see.\
