The prices of computers drives the price for computer repair shops.

I run a small in house computer help service and I always tell my clients that I don't believe they should spend more than $200 to fix their old computer. If I diagnosed they would need more parts, then I would suggest them to consider buying a new one.

Sometimes they don't listen :-D
