"Don't give me that leftist nonsense about this 'Black Death'. Can you show it to me, huh? It's just another myth spread by collectivists to frighten the peasantry into giving up their freedom to the central castle. Sending out carts to pick up the bodies is an an unconscionable waste of the tithe, and only encourages dependency on the kingdom and robs the serfs of their proud independence. It's an individual responsibility, and every family should cart off its own dead, dammit, and quit whining that the whole family's dead. That's just another Commie-Liberal excuse. And don't tell me I can't cough on you, it's my God-given right to cough on anybody I damn well feel like!"

"It's not my problem that the village well is fouled with dung from my sheep, tough, dig your own well and wean yourself away from that goddam collectivism! And stop whining that the stream's an open sewer from my cattle! See that fence there? Inside's my property, outside, who gives a damn? It's every peasant for himself, just the way God intended it."
