Almost! ;-) I really like him, respect him and trust him. Which is not something I can really say about any other politician. If ever there was anyone who could tempt me to cross party lines, it is John McCain. I disagree with some of his positions and that is ultimately what will make up my mind. I know that you and probably most here think I'm far left liberal but I'm not really. I'm more middle of the road. I'm a social liberal but a fiscal conservative with some exceptions.

Let me put it this way--If McCain became President, I would proudly say, "John McCain is OUR President." And I'd sit back and expect him to do a good job. Some things I might disagree with and wouldn't hesitate to send an e-mail to let him know that I do and why. And I would figure he would consider the opinions of those who disagree with him. But he'd still do what his judgment tells him. And you can't ask any more than that.

Bush is the President only for those who agree with him.
