Goes to the heart of the democratic process, tears the guts out of right of every citizen to participate in his or her government at the most basic and important level.
When the media can determine the ultimate victor in an election that's 9 months away, it's time to consolidate that media into corporations which are much more able to influence the population in directions more conducive to the welfare of the corporate state. Which benefits everyone. Sooner or later. In a few, if not many, ways.
Past time. Overdue. Time for Michael Powell back at the FCC, for starters.
As a citizen I shouldn't have to take it. Down with the liberal, backbiting media. Fox News and Karl "Heil" Rove should be required on all stations and channels to counterbalance the influence of the few, the shamed and the ugly. (OK, they may be pretty on the outside, but inside, man, inside - - - !)
I can't go on. Well, I could but I've made my point. Which wasn't much to begin with. So I've overdone it a bit. Not the first time. Or the last. But what the hell, it's late and no one will read it anyway. So that's a relief. Gotta walk the dog, and reflect on how that damned media has influenced me.
Why are they using the media as an excuse anyway. It's early on.

Proves it - a vile plot, beyond mere conspiracy. (Early for excuses, isn't it?)

- Feeling a little silly yet?
- "media" has called W. Virginia for Huckabee
- "call" the primaries for McCain very early
- It's all a media plot.
