Regarding my motivation, because I detest Bush or because I have a sense of compassion for his victims? A fair question.
I believe I detest Bush because of the suffering he and the other Conservatives have inflicted upon innocent people in this world for base motives. One must compound this with a personal sense of shame over having participated in the last grand failure of the United States to expand the empire, that time into Southeast Asia.
When one puts those together there is anger at a very deep level. Innocent people shouldn't have to suffer so much because of one man's ego or one countries efforts toward imperialism. The idea was to "get Saddam". But the hundreds of thousands along the way? Who would do that? My country, I'm afraid. George W. Bush & Co.
Saddam was a bad guy. For the average Iraqi Bush has been a worse guy. Saddam was at least Iraqi. Bush, and the United States, have had to travel to do it.
I get too angry.
