As for Dodd, I'm not sure what "against the rule of law" means when the Congress has actually passed the law. I heard a lot of bitching in the past about Bush going over the heads of Congress. Well, now he's run this through all the right channels, in a Senate with a Democratic majority, dotted the i's and crossed the t's, and this is what we ended up with, including broadening the authority of the FISA court to oversee operations.
