Animals *get* us. It is the human that must learn how to *get* the animal.
They are NOT lower life forms. They are DIFFERENT life forms.
The bond between those two is as capable of the depth of any human/human relationship.
I know my mother is different since a new kitty came into her life....and I mean that in a GOOD way!!!!
