Sorry, but I am just becoming more and more distrustful of religion with each
passing day, as it all clearly becomes more obvious that religious organizations
are merely branches of governments imposing their wills upon the frightened
and uneducated masses - who so badly want some purpose in their lives, even
delusional ones.

Quite frankly the types of afterlives offered by most religions are not places
I would want to go. Besides being a way to manipulate people to conform
in this life, they also give false hope to people who are afraid to die and will
even accept hell as an alternative to oblivion.

Though I do like the Mormon idea of working your way up to becoming a
god of your very own universe - except that their religion is as big a bunch
of hooey as any other, we just have more recent documented evidence to
know this.
