If all it takes is a nearby explosion of the killer missle satt, why did the USA demonstrate this capability to the world? To out do the Chi-Comms and the Soviets? Naw, there was something on this bird the NSA did not want coming down in any way shape or form, so they went the route of SATT-i-Cide. BTW, it's routine for the spy-satts to do de-orbit burns and re-enter? Since when?
