On the one hand, we have video from the event, showing 90-count 'em 90 heavily armed soldiers wearing state-of-the-art combat gear equal to that used by the US Army, armored vehicles, and helicopters, in a scene all-too-reminiscent of Iraq. And we have the statements of the organizers that they had obtained the necessary permits, and we have the statements of the security guards describing the actions of the soldiers.
On the other hand, we have the insane rantings of Michelle Malkin, and the after-the-fact written report by the authorities justifying their actions.
Oh yes, clearly we should believe whatever a rabid demagogue and the authorities say. At least if "we" are authoritarian conservatives, eh?
