The only reason I used the blog reference was because I could find no other link for the Provo news article, which I thought was a rather objective look at the issue. I figured the police report, which states that the proper permits were not in fact obtained, was significant.

A very stupid person would assume this was about Michelle Malkin.

I'm not sure why the word of the party organizers is considered sacrosant and the word of the other side is automatically suspect. I can't raise the "music-versus-guns.org" website any more than I can raise the Provo news one.

For the record, I also thought it was overkill on the part of the police, but it irks me to see people fly off into the ether on these kinds of things.
