I actually think that more nuclear reactors would lessen the threat of terrorist attacks.

Now follow me on this. It is not as crazy as it sounds. If we could get the majority of our power from nuclear energy, and convert our cars to electric, we wouldn’t need oil for power anymore. We would just need oil to make things like plastics, and our oil reserves are enough to take care of those needs for a long time.

This cuts our dependency on the Middle East. Not only can we let them be, but we also lessen the cash flow going into that region, some of which ends up supporting terrorist. With us infidels off their holy ground, and the hand that feeds them gone, I think their threat to America would dwindle away.

I say build more nuclear reactors and convert our cars to electric. France is on the right track and we should follow their example. We need to lessen our dependency on oil. Being so dependant is a security and economic risk to America.
