I'm having a TB moment. No one seems to want facts.
I've linked the voting record and the sheer number of NV votes in the US SENATE since around 7/07. Yeah, Hillary and McCain also have been neglecting their responsibilities as well in their quest for public office.
As for the sleazy political practices that go on in Illinois with the masses consent - that's wonderful for Illinois. When that mentality is brought to the US Senate it's simply shirking responsibility for political gain - it's political cowardice. We don't need another stereotypical sleazy politician President talking out of both sides of his mouth - we already had a Clinton Presidency.
Obama wishes he were like Reagan "the great communicator". Well, Reagan was not concealing his positions or beliefs. He wasn't the guy to vote "present". He proudly asserted his lower taxes supply side economics. He proudly denounced communism. He proudly raised defense spending. Obama talks the talk, but he hasn't walked the walk, he's hedged his bets in Illinois and now on the US Senate floor for personal ambition. It's worked for him so far...but soon he will see that what gets you fastest to the gate, is not necessarily good for admission.
I laugh out loud when I hear Obama say he made the right choice not backing the troops in Iraq. He's an ambitious, corrupt novice who has used that one point against Hillary with the leftist base of foreign policy illiterates. Hillary had FAR more to lose than the newbie Senator from Illinois by not supporting our national interests. What was it to the nobody from Illinois to be seen as illiterate of American interests, but a hero to the BDS left?
Everybody with working frontal lobes understands this. Hillary, bit the bullet, supported the troops and our national security while Obama was busy playing politics.
Obama is sleazy. His Farrakhan associations, corrupt real estate deals and sunday sermon style appeals to those who want to believe - not those who refuse to look at his voting record critically.
Obama deliverance is an article of faith, not facts. It's modern day hucksterism for the rubes. It's a revival preacher shouting down the folks who dare disbelieve in faith healing.
Yes, I know, we have the faithful here in force. Averting your eyes from his voting record will not make it go away, and believe me -if he is the candidate the GOP will turn his shortlived, unproductive political career into so much confetti.
My critiques here will seem like gushing Obama praise.

I'm nonplussed.
