Not as many jobs for US citizens if the planes were made in the USA
A report on NPR yesterday said about 25,000 jobs will be made
in the US from this decision by the DoD to have its planes built
in France.
Had the planes been built here, it would have created over
44,000 jobs for US citizens.
Outside of being cheaper, why would we want our military
planes being made by a country that has shown its disdain
for the USA on more than one occasion?
Why don't we just have them made in China, I bet that
would be real cheap. And then we could watch our planes
fall apart if we got into a scrape with them.
Funny how the US government asks and demands the loyal
and patriotism of its citizens, while it goes behind our backs
whenever a buck is to be made.
