Amazing, and beautiful

At first, I thought it was CGI, the movement is so organic.
They're going to sell a lot of those to covered sports arenas.

Flight of fantasy:

I wonder;
Could you make a semi-buoyant airship work with that concept?

Maybe the aluminised mylar skin becomes an articulated double wall semi-rigid exoskeleton.

Scale it up to a 300 foot wingspan, inflate it with helium, and stick a couple of fuel efficient, light weight thrust vectoring jet engines, (Say from the F-22) in the tail.

If the exoskeleton was proportionally thin and light enough, and the helium inflation pressure provided a good measure of structural rigidity, well, is that too Johnny Quest?

Hats off to the people behind Air Ray.
