re: Humans fear just about everything they don't understand

I don't know for sure but I think Dextre has about as much sentience as the factory robots that were installed, and then later removed from a GM automobile factory.

It will be interesting to see how many tools it looses into space.

If you give a Robot a tool in Space you don't blame the Robot! ("Chimp a gun")

The Three laws...actually just two were mentioned, is a joke.

They didn't actually program the robot like that, as you pointed out it isn't even sophisticated enough to understand the concepts.

Robots are the only logical choice for advancement in space and hostile enviroments.

I believe that robots will eventually be used to kill people in armies perhaps even millions of people.

As scary as it seems it's inevitable, just as those who developed the Fire Arm, Fighter air planes, R.A.D.A.R., and the A bomb, had the advantage so will the army of the future that has Terminator type "Robots" actually Androids.

The real question is: What kind of Leader will hold those reigns?

Will it be a Republic, or a dictator?
Resistance is fultile?
