Kids in local AZ elementary schools are now being given a project to "create a new planet" because the Earth has been destroyed by global warming. The same old "It will probably be okay for you...but your children are doomed" answers to frightened children are par for the course. And thus the evil fear-mongering is spread to those least capable of filtering leftist BS.

Cockburn's most important line in that article was this:

The left has bought into environmental catastrophism because it thinks that if it can persuade the world that there is indeed a catastrophe, then somehow the emergency response will lead to positive developments in terms of social and environmental justice.

And I would add to that to acquire political power.

It's a scam for the rubes and the easily duped.

Anyone even remotely scientifically literate will immediately realize that when you have no accurate measure of solar variance you have no accuracy in acquiring the cause of temperature variance on the Earth. That simple sentence shuts down debate. Period. Anyone pretending to know what causes any miniscule temp variance on the planet without such data is simply full of it.

So solar scientists are well aware of this data deficit. Any honest one will tell you man-made global warming is a bunch of hooey, unscientific gibberish made of incomplete data sets. The general public assumes these "climate" scientists know what they are talking about when they are simply pushing the worst unscientific BS.

No one wants to inform the masses of our inability to measure solar variance. No one wants to spoil the "man-made global warming" power grab.

And Cockburn has this right too:

This is a fantasy. In truth, environmental catastrophism will, in fact, play into the hands of the sinister-as-always corporate interests.

It's just an excuse to charge more for everything. It's an excuse for the government to impose draconian taxes and surcharges that get passed on to the consumer. It will speed up outsourcing like no tomorrow. Basically, it's goal is to turn the US into any 3rd world country - dependant upon factories overseas for all its goods.

Every factory that leaves or is shut down is another nail in the US coffin. The nihilists of the left embrace it. The suckers buy into it. The teachers teach it mindlessly.

It's a sad day for America when so many can be so easily duped by the forces of evil. And let there be no doubt, the forces pushing man-made global warming are evil.
