For several months now the neocons have been proclaiming that the so-called "surge" is a success. These latest events show just how much folly such remarks represent.
The fact is that Iraq is a frigging disaster. So far 4004 American soldiers have been killed because that *sshole we call a president invented a reason to invade Iraq.
For my money's worth, Mr. Bush should be prosecuted for war crimes and left to rot in jail for the rest of his born days.
We will be at this for decades. And it will cost the American economy trillions. What a disaster.
