If I got a million hits a day or even a month - I'd be very worried. My sight would have to have been co-opted by a p0rn or warez site passing out free serial numbers to get that sort of traffic.

If you don't tell people what they want to hear - or give them want they want to see - your traffic will go down, by each measure of noncompliance accordingly.

For the type of content I put out, my readers have to be somewhat ascetic, non-materialists or aspire to such mode of living. ;-)

While they are out there, their numbers are FAR, FAR, FAR less than those who want the pat on the head and an outlet for emotions, downloadable music, movies, p0rn or software serial numbers and hacks.

What I get, I get.
