Congratulations to Intuit...

...on achieving Schiavo-grade AI.

"Hi, I'm Terry. Even though my designers deliberately gave me weakly anthropomorphic text, don't fall for it. Remember that I'm a computer not a person, and all I can do is match words in the same knowledge base that you can use yourself on the Web site. Think of me as Google with blonde hair and a perky attitude. If you have to ask me to look it up for you, you're as dumb as my designers thought you are, and Intuit deserves to wring every last penny of profit it can from your sorry ass. Don't tell me the help system sucks, I could give a rat's ass. Remember that I'm a computer and not a person.

Have a nice day!"

But there's a silver lining: Intuit's probably been able to fire their overpriced Indian outsourced tier 1 support staff--you're not worth 10 cents/hour, Tom--and "Tina" is probably located right here in the good ole US of A. So the job's being done on American soil once again. Three cheers for Intuit for supporting the American worker!
