One thing going for such life...Is that it would have probably evolved in high radiation...

So it would almost certianly have developed into a species that can survive higher radiation levels than Earth life-forms...Ie. life on a small moon in a highly radioactive environment would be much more likley to survive a transit through space when and if such transit occured...
