God knows the Democrats are going to try to tie McCain's policies to Bush's, although anyone who's been paying even the remotest attention over the past few years knows how accurate that is. It's pretty much all they've got to work with. That and emotional euphoria.
The Democratic candidates are currently selling capitulation overseas, trade wars, tax increases, nationalizing the health care system, and all their usual goodies. Good luck on that.
I'm still not making any election predictions. When the Democrats pick their candidate, the media will declare full war against McCain, and anything can happen.
But it's fairly obvious that, once the euphoria wears off, McCain (for want of a better phrasing) craps bigger than the entire modern Democratic Party leadership combined. That might end up being the bottom line.
