We had a visitor recently who had revived some of those old Russian "oil finder" methods. We analysed it and worked out pretty quickly how it was done. it's all bunk. The sad thing is the Russians actually *beleived* in their mumbo-jumbo.
This is the same - a break in the clouds along a topographic feature? - DUH!
The ground is warmer than the clouds? - Double DUH!
And all this an entirely random date months away from the earthquake? How predictive is THAT?
