re: All societies have rules and structures
This thread sure got off from what I had in mind.
I thought the Pope’s speech was addressing human rights and unmoral conflicts currently occurring around the world, which the UN is supposed to be solving.
The quote I posted in my opinion was an indirect message referring to policies and religion practices of law that don't promote common good and are suppressing human freedoms in many countries.
Sure all freedoms are restricted to a point, but some rules and structures cross the line which in turn can end ones freedom altogether.
