Well, there all types of nutcase’s bad and good depending on ones view.
The description is thrown about so loosely it’s hard to pin it down to just one type of personal character.
Take the good nutcase. Say someone is extremely anal at performing their job which upper management thinks is wonderful, other colleagues might think that person is a nutcase.
Best to take the term with a grain of salt.
