I saw it in Norfolk, Va when I was 21, in 1968.

On liberty from my ship, then docked at the DNS piers. The last time I saw it was about 6 months ago on an HD lcd TV through a killer sound system. It's held up pretty well.

The first time I saw it I wasn't quite sure what I'd just witnessed, but I knew it mattered.
