Action, an American cultural value
Exploration is 'so passe' to the deconstructionist academic mentality that prevails in most Western cultures, even in the USA excepting American science. It's a vestige of testosterone laden, imperialistic hubris that must be eradicated. Look at geopolitics, Kosovo et. al. Action is a very American value.
