You don't have to have corn or any other viable food source to grow crops for Ethanol.
You can get the same results from growing weeds (for crowing out loud). As in weed, yes... they grow faster and do not need as much fertilizer and water as other 'food' sources. I remember readin that Bush, Jr. knows this, but anyways... :)
