..are the same folks who cursed Reagan and called him the anti-Christ and drew sadistic, mentally unstable cartoons of Reagan and pasted them on lamp poles defacing neighborhoods around universities.

The years pass but political ignorance in both the young and old remains the same.

So far Bush has been elected twice. Let's see Obama get elected once first before we consider a single rally a sign of electability. There were tens of thousands of folks who gathered in a huge park to see President Ford in Orange County, CA way back in 1976 and it was only known about a day in advance. Ford gave his address from a fire engine ladder truck and a microphone with speakers attached to the truck so that he could be seen and heard by the masses...and we all know what happened to Ford in November.
