Remember the thrill of adventure as Opportunity traveled across new terrain as she headed towards Victoria? Remember waiting to get that first glimpse of Victoria. I found it very exciting to follow the rovers day by day. Wondering what new discoveries each day brings.

Phoenix will be great, but I can’t wait for MSL. Rovers carry the excitement for exploration. Rovers help answer, what is on the horizon.

Whatever happens, remember that we were there to watch the MER's historical journiwes. We got to explore Mars with them like Mars has never been expored before. We got to witness the first jouney on another planet. I hope we can recapture that excitment again.

(Rovers on Titan wsould be great too.)

They are still working hard, but I fear their roving days are near the end.
